Geography

Geography plays an important role in our school’s goal of ensuring our children know more about their identity as members of our local community and also have the self-confidence and knowledge to celebrate diversity. At Gleadless, we have a high-quality Geography curriculum which aims to inspire in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.

In Geography we equip pupils with knowledge about:

• diverse places
• diverse people
• diverse natural environments 
• diverse human environments
• the Earth’s key physical processes
• how the Earth’s features change over time
