At Gleadless, we are proud to serve our local community and each day we open our doors to almost 440 children. Every child at Gleadless is cared-for and valued as an individual. We are proud of our highly-inclusive approach and our ambition to provide the very best education possible for every pupil.
The relationships that we have with our children and our families sit at the heart of all that we do. Our daily interactions are rooted in mutual respect and the understanding that every person in our school community wants the very best for our children and for our school. Working closely with parents and carers, we provide an enhanced pastoral and personal development offer, ensuring that good social, emotional and mental health are given high priority.
Furthermore, we want every child at Gleadless to excel not only in their academic education, but also in their wider skills and qualities. The staff team at Gleadless are committed to providing rich and varied opportunities both within and outside of the curriculum, so that children can have new experiences and can hone their talents.
Our staff care deeply about the safety, wellbeing and attainment of the children in our care. We think that this is a special place to come to school and I am proud each day to see the impact that we can all have on the lives of our community.
